Vivian was the recipient of an international scholarship for his Masters degree at Edinburgh College of Art, with an exchange program with the famous Rhode Island School of Design USA. He has extensive international work experience as a member of the award winning Landscape Design and Implementation Team at Ironside Farrar Ltd (Edinburgh, UK) and now leads the Design and build, construction & landscape design teams at NBMA.
His experience in architecture and landscape design includes institutional & educational campus design, business park landscape design, neighbourhood park design, residential developments, urban streetscapes etc. both in the UK and India. Projects in the UK included Masterplan and landscape design for the University of Edinburgh and University of Aberdeen. He was project architect for various buildings such as the Business Centre, Music Department building, Health Centre, Laboratories, student hostels and the outdoor activity centre at Woodstock School, Mussoorie. His recent projects include the National Power Training Institute at Guwahati, Zonal and Regional HQ building for Central Bank of India, Offices for Motilal Oswal Securities, and buildings for St. Xavier’s School and the Vidyajyoti Foundation.
He has been part of the faculty for the Masters program for Landscape architecture at School of Planning and Architecture Delhi. Along with a keen eye for detail and an inimitable sense of style and design, Vivian has an interest in environmentally ethical practices and green rated buildings.
